I suddenly missed unit811 - the people the place. 
Warm and comforting. The place and the people. :)

Sometimes, when one is sad-- really, really sad about one thing, when although that one thing can actually not be a thing that can make someone that sad, one has a tendency to look for additional things which make one sad, that can then make that kind of sadness be justified.

Can't figure out yet where that is coming from. And until I am still unsure, there is that tendency that is clearly unhealthy, which is hard to get away from but do-able, I believe. And one step is this - fight the urge to look for those other things by looking for things that elicit the opposite - happy thoughts:

-my makukulit, funny, sweet siblings
-last night out with officemates which had a higher than expected attendance rate
-laugh trip with people i work with
-getting drunk and having people to look out for you
-being able to have the opportunity to show a person I appreciate that he is appreciated
-seeing someone go without having to mean a friend is lost
-managing a friend's resignation better than i've expected i can
-silence when i needed it most
-distraction when i needed it
-indian mangoes overload this hot, hot summer
-free ride in a bmw 3series
-milk chocolate with pili nuts in lieu of almonds
-one extra day for bumming when business seems not to be as bright as the past
-grey's anatomy marathon
-reading paolo coelho again after quite a while

Take time to smell the flowers,
